Most family practice concerns including medication refills
A common office visit concern is weight maintenance or patients seeking weight loss. Almost 70% of adults in the United States are either over weight of obese. Along with diet and exercise, weight loss medication can be utilized to help improve energy levels and suppress appetite. Vitamin B12 can also be used to enhance energy and improve weight loss outcomes. My goal is to help you maintain a healthy weight and ideally, prevent future medical problems.
Bio-identical hormones can be used by men and women. The term refers to compounded hormones that have the same chemical and molecular structures as the hormones that our body produces. The combination of hormones and the amount of each hormone used, is determined on a case-by-case basis for each patient.
Starting as early as age 30, our hormone levels start to decline and our health can follow suit. Our bodies become less efficient and health decline and be very subtle or more drastic in nature. The patient's symptoms and lab values are always taken into consideration in determining and adjusting dosages. Hormones are used to treat menopausal symptoms as well as symptoms associated with aging. A few examples include fatigue, hot flashes, low libido, lack of focus, difficulty sleeping, erectile dysfunction, weight gain and/or muscle loss, migraines, high cholesterol, etc.
